Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a prestigious international rating system for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.
There are a number of different LEED classifications including New Construction, Existing Buildings, Commercial Interiors, Core & Shell, Retail, and Homes.
Our Programs are customized to meet and exceed criteria for Sustainable Waste & Recycling prerequisites and credits.
We are proud to be a member of the consulting teams assisting the:
- First multi-tenant office building in Canada to achieve USGBC LEED-EB certification (Silver)
- First bank tower complex in Canada in obtaining USGBC LEED-EB GOLD certification
BOMA BESt Certification
The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) has established BOMA BESt (Level 1,2,3,4) as a national environmental recognition and certification program for commercial buildings in Canada. 
Specific applications are available for office towers, shopping centres, open air retail and light industrial.
We have extensive experience in facilitating the certification process from the initial analysis, to on-site evaluation and preparation of audits and policies, to the full assembly of the application package. We remain on-site to support the Management Team during the verification process.
The components of our Sustainable Waste and Recycling Management Program assist properties in meeting the requirements of BOMA BESt certification.

Zero Waste Certification
Zero Waste International Alliance recognizes properties that divert more than 90% of their total waste generated from landfill and incineration. We conduct Zero Waste Audits to verify status and provide the appropriate confirmation to the client.
Zero Waste exemplifies an admirable achievement and typifies companies and properties that are committed to environmental excellence. Zero Waste is attainable through a unified approach of recycling waste materials on-site and purchasing practices whereby materials are selected based on their positive environmental impact.

BOMA Certificate of Excellence
The Certificate of Excellence Program is aligned with the BOMA Canada and BOMA International Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) program. Categories include Office Buildings, Historical Buildings, Public Assembly Buildings, Industrial Office Buildings and Shopping Centres.
Certification is based on meeting a minimum point score (70%). Entrants must meet standards in building management, operations and design, tenant relations and community impact, energy management and conservation, environmental, regulatory and sustainability initiatives, and the training of building personnel.
We have extensive experience in facilitating the certification process and complete the application on behalf of the Management Team. We remain on-site with the Management Team for support during the verification process.

Green Toronto Awards
The City of Toronto's Environmental Awards of Excellence honour and celebrate the individuals, organizations and companies that are helping lead the way to a cleaner, greener and more liveable Toronto.

Recycling Council of Alberta, Waste Minimization Awards
The awards are designed to recognize outstanding contributions to waste reduction, recycling and resource conservation in Alberta. There are 3 categories: Corporate Leadership, Institutional Leadership, Zero Waste Event and Municipal Leadership.
We have assisted clients in preparing and submitting their application packages resulting in receiveing this prestigious award.

Recycling Council of British Columbia, Waste Minimization Awards
Each year the Recycling Council of B.C. recognizes the valuable contribution that individuals and organizations make towards the preservation and protection of British Columbia's 
environment. RCBC recognizes organization and individuals in 7 categories: non-profit, public sector, private sector, youth, education, journalism, and a special innovator's award.
We have assisted clients in preparing and submitting their application packages for this prestigious awards program.

Recycling Council of Ontrario, Waste Minimization Awards
These awards are a tribute to excellence within the province and play a pivotal role in Ontario’s quest for continuous improvement and higher diversion rates. The program supports 
participants by encouraging them to examine their waste management practices, set goals to reduce wastes and quantify results, both with respect to waste diversion and economic savings.
Award categories include: Arts, ICI, Communication, Festivals, Municipal, Program Operator and Sustainable Products/Services.
We have assisted clients in preparing and submitting their application packages for the various categories and winning this prestigious award in all levels (bronze, silver, gold and platinum).
