Waste System Financial Optimization Programs

Shopping Centres

1.2 million square foot shopping centre: our services resulted in an annual savings of $100,000 or 71%. Annual waste costs decreased from $140,000 to $40,000.

400,000 square foot shopping centre: in 2 years, our services increased the diversion rate from 22% to 45%.

Office Towers

1 million square foot office tower: our services resulted in decreased annual waste costs from $150,000 to $80,000.

660,000 square foot office complex: we reduced annual waste costs by $40,000 from $10,000 to an annual rebate of $30,000.

975,000 square foot office tower: our services resulted in an increase in their diversion rate from 52% to 91.5%.

Hospitals

We have partnered with hospitals and nursing homes to reduce their costs and increase recycling levels. A Toronto Hospital’s annual waste cost declined from $180,000 to $120,000.

Manufacturing Facilities

200 employee manufacturing/distribution facility: our services resulted in decreased waste costs from $93,000 to $60,000 and an increased diversion rate from 84% to 96%.

Restaurants

Our services resulted in a restaurant saving $37,000 on their annual waste costs; from $80,000 to $43,000 and increased recycling diversion rate from 45% to 78%.

Residential

230 multi-unit residential building: we ensured that the property maintained residential, city pick-up and increased diversion rates from 17% to 38%.

180-unit condominium: our services resulted in a $35,000 cost savings in commercial pick up on their annual bill of $115,000. The diversion rate also increased from 30% to 62%.

Construction, Renovation, Demolition Projects

50,000 square foot renovation project: we achieved an 88% diversion rate.

Compactor Analysis

We apply our extensive industry experience in assessing and maximizing the performance of your equipment and overall facilities to help your property realize cost savings and increased diversion. If your property is undergoing new construction or a renovation, we are available to calculate the increased volume of waste and recyclables. We provide a summary report of the proper equipment (compactors) specifications as well as conduct a formal tendering program for our clients.
