Managing Director
Louis is the Managing Director of CD SONTER and is responsible for the company's operations and strategic direction. His professional career extends two decades and he has spent over 15 years in environmental consulting, which has spanned a wide-range of sectors including industrial, commercial, institutional and multi-residential. Louis resides in the Greater Toronto Area with his wife and three children.
Louis is actively involved in the Green Building Council Mentorship program to help guide and support the professional development of industry peers. He is also an enthusiastic volunteer soccer coach dedicated to the development of young athletes.

Senior Director, Sustainability Services
As the Senior Director of the Awards and Certifications Department, Nichole is responsible for leading a high-performance team, managing the operations of the department, and developing new business opportunities. Nichole is passionate about lifelong learning, the world beyond our little places in it, and creating building environments that offer sustainability, wellness, accessibility, and equity for all. She is a LEED® AP (Operations and Maintenance), WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP), a Fitwel® Ambassador, and a member of a local naturalist and heritage conservation organization.
Nichole loves vegan cooking and baking, is an avid gardener, and mom to a dog named Queso and cat named Ruby.

Senior Technical Director, Sustainability Services
Joseph has over 17 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. As the Technical Director of the Waste Auditing Department, Joseph oversees much of the behind the scenes work to ensure that critical data entry and calculations proceed efficiently, making him just as comfortable in the field as he is conquering a spreadsheet. In addition to waste audits his projects range from analysis of waste service costs, projecting waste needs for new construction projects, to creating effective artwork for client signage.

Senior Director, Sustainability Services
As the Senior Director of the Waste Auditing Department, Michael is responsible for setting the department's strategy and providing positive leadership to the team. In his 15 years of industry experience, he has worked across all properties types in the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional sectors to develop data driven recycling solutions, embed stakeholder engagement strategies, and help companies integrate environmental best practices into everyday business decisions.
Like his favourite cycling team, he is a firm believer that having the right metrics to make the best investments will help organizations achieve long-term sustainable business success.

Director, Sustainability Services
Gillian is a sustainability expert with passion for aligning business and environmental goals to achieve triple bottom line wins. Gillian has proven experience working with Fortune 50 companies as well as small-to-medium enterprises building, rolling out, and embedding tailored sustainability programs into corporate culture. As the Director of the Occupant Engagement Services Department, Gillian has demonstrated expertise in building strategic programs and initiatives that compliment an organization's core business strategy, resonate with employees and tenants, and ultimately deepen brand building and leadership.
Gillian climbed the Lord of the Rings Trilogy’s “Mount Doom” in New Zealand.
Steve Carell once smiled at her (or at least in her general direction) at a brunch restaurant in Toronto.
Senior Manager, Sustainability Services
Ana is responsible for managing the Awards and Certifications Department. With abundant experience in energy and water auditing as well as project managing various Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) awards and certifications, Ana helps deliver strategic direction to clients’ environmental programs. Ana has experience working with a range of commercial real estate asset types including office, shopping centre, open air retail, mixed use, and industrial.
Ana holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and is a Fitwel® Ambassador. She loves travelling and hiking, and has a real passion for food and fitness.
Ana is a certified personal trainer (and also has her real estate license).

Manager, Accounting & Administration
Farsa is responsible for all accounting, payroll and administrative functions at CD SONTER. She has a strong background in corporate accounting and brings a wealth of experience within the field. She is dedicated to ensuring our staff have strong internal support and is always ready to go the extra mile.
Farsa is always searching for great novels and is usually found roaming bookstores during the weekend. She also loves painting and practicing calligraphy during her free time.

Project Manager, Sustainability Services
As the Project Manager in the Awards and Certifications Division, Esha is responsible for the planning, organization and completion of green building certifications. With a passion for the development and advancement of green buildings in the commercial real estate sector, Esha works closely with clients in developing innovative strategies to drive their sustainability programs and help them achieve environmental certifications. She has experience project managing the Building Owners and Managers Association Building Environmental Standards® (BOMA BEST®), the Institute of Real Estate Management® Certified Sustainable Property Certification (IREM CSP), the Fitwel® Certification as well as leading energy, water and indoor air quality audits for shopping centres and office buildings.
Esha is an avid badminton player, coffee lover and a foodie who enjoys exploring and trying new cafes and restaurants in the city.

Manager, Sustainability Services
Priscilla completed her undergraduate degree with the University of Waterloo majoring in Environment and Resource Studies with a minor in Geography and Environmental Management. She also completed over the course of her program, a two-year coop experience with Dufferin County focusing on residential waste diversion programs and over 40 educational presentations focused on various items (waste reduction, vermicomposting, recycling, plastics, landfills, etc.) in both primary and secondary institutions within the region. She has strengthened her knowledge base in sustainability and has over the course of 3.5 years worked her way up to an Associate Manager position. She oversees the coordination and scheduling of projects, team performance management in addition to reviewing and finalizing project work within the Waste Optimization Division. She has also been given the opportunity to become a TRUE Advisor through the GBCI and complete the Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management through Western University. Priscilla is currently working on becoming a LEED Green associate through the U.S Green Building Council.
In her spare time, Priscilla loves to travel and practice her amateur photography skills. Her travels revolve around the opportunity to explore a new city or place and fully immerse herself in the culture and all that it has to offer. Her proudest travelling memory would be climbing the tallest mountain in Slovenia which is Mount Triglav (where both sides of her family are from) and finally claim the unwritten rule of becoming a becoming a true Slovenian.

Project Manager, Sustainability services
As Project Manager of the Waste Optimization Division, Kate works with clients from kick-off to project close out. Working closely with the auditors, she helps to coordinate waste audits as well as analyze and present the findings to clients. Kate has worked on national portfolios with a variety of property types including office, retail, industrial and residential. She has a special interest in residential portfolios and the opportunity to instill the culture of sustainability within the home and workspace.
Kate is a LEED Green Associate and comes to CD Sonter with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Western Ontario as well as a Diploma in Ecosystem Management Technology from Fleming College.
Kate enjoys curling and crochet and especially loves to introduce these activities to others. She enjoys spending time up north in cottage country with her dogs, friends, and family.
