
Priscilla Spelko
Manager, Sustainability Services
Priscilla obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) with a minor in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Waterloo. She also completed over the course of her program, a two-year coop experience with Dufferin County focusing on their residential waste diversion programs and completing educational presentations at both primary and secondary institutions within the region. Priscilla has strengthened her knowledge in sustainability and waste management, working her way up from an Intern to the Manager position within five years. Priscilla oversees the coordination and scheduling of projects, team performance management in addition to reviewing and finalizing project work within the Waste Optimization Division. She has also been given the opportunity to become a TRUE Advisor through the GBCI and completed the Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management through Western University. Priscilla is currently working on becoming a LEED Green associate through the U.S Green Building Council.
Fun Facts
In her spare time, Priscilla loves to travel and practice her photography skills. Her travels revolve around the opportunity to explore a new city or place and fully immerse herself in the culture and all that it has to offer. Her proudest travelling memory would be climbing the tallest mountain in Slovenia which is Mount Triglav (where both sides of her family are from) and finally claim the unwritten rule of becoming a true Slovenian.
