We are looking for a creative and high energy self-starter with a passion for sustainability to join our Occupant Engagement Services Team. Reporting to the division Manager, the Senior Specialist, Sustainability Services will be responsible for working with a diverse portfolio of stakeholder engagement, and education initiatives for our clients. Our initiatives serve to raise stakeholder awareness and participation around critical sustainability themes through various in-person and virtual projects that range from written content such as infographic design and newsletters to large-scale art installations to live trainings such as leading green team meetings and workshops. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients’ sustainability programs and inspire meaningful change while working in a collaborative, fast-paced and highly rewarding environment. This position is based out of our Toronto office and also offers flexible working hours and work remote.

What you will do:
- Design, develop and facilitate various occupant engagement events and activities. This includes (but is not limited to) live events such as webinars, green team meetings, one-on-one trainings, and promotional activities, as well as passive communication such as the development of newsletters, posters, art boards, infographics, and large-scale lobby installations.
- Engage and collaborate with clients and their occupants to inspire meaningful behavioral changes across a variety of sustainability topics. As such, an understanding of current sustainability trends and news is critical.
- Planning and meeting all project timelines and budgets, actively communicating with the department manager and clients.
- Assist in the research, development and implementation of new and innovative sustainability programming to grow the current service offerings for the Occupant Engagement Services Department.
What you bring to the role:
- 2-3+ years of environmental or sustainability consulting, coupled with customer management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Bilingual in French (Canadian) is an asset.
- Confident public speaker with strong presentation skills to organize and lead meetings and workshops tailored to a broad range of internal, external and senior management audiences.
- Able to actively work with and maintain cooperative positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Past experience with client management and relationship building is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in combination with the ability to perform duties under minimal supervision.
- Strong time management and planning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Takes a well-ordered and logical approach when analyzing problems, organizing work and planning action.
- Strong proficiency and understanding of MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Experience with Abode InDesign and Illustrator is an asset.
- Available to travel across Canada.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Access to a vehicle.
